Ix Art Park Foundation strives to empower the Charlottesville community by growing accessible and inclusive creative spaces. Ix Art Park proudly serves more than a  quarter-million visitors annually with arts programs and weekly series most at zero cost to participants. 

As a nonprofit organization and truly inclusive space, Ix Art Park strengthens the city of Charlottesville through cultural celebrations, community collaborations, projects supporting local artists (both financially and through exposure) , and entrepreneurial opportunities with a focus on uplifting marginalized individuals . Ix Art Park champions inclusive and accessible artmaking with its unique Outside Art Room, semester-long after school art programs for disadvantaged students, and scholarships to the organizations paid art programs; in 2021, Ix’s artmaking programs served 10,000 visitors.
